The Fu Hwa Hotel launches the "Taichung-Kaohsiung Twin Cities Tour" accommodation package at a 28% discount

With next year’s winter vacation and Spring Festival holiday stretching a total of 27 days, hotels in central and southern Taiwan are eyeing the domestic travel boom during the break and the fast-paced lifestyle enabled by high-speed rail. In response, Taichung Fu Hwa Grand Hotel and Kaohsiung Fu Hwa Grand Hotel have joined forces under the “Central Taiwan Tourism Promotion Committee” and the “Southern Taiwan Tourism Industry Alliance” cooperative exchange and integrated promotion plan to roll out the “Taichung-Kaohsiung Twin Cities Tour” accommodation package. For a 3-day, 2-night stay, buy one night and get the second free—with discounts slashed to 2.8 times the original price, even better than travel fair deals.

The Fu Hwa Hotel “Taichung-Kaohsiung Twin Cities Tour” accommodation package is available from December 29, 2017, to March 31, 2019. Purchasing the “Taichung-Kaohsiung Twin Cities Tour” package at either Taichung or Kaohsiung Fu Hwa Grand Hotel entitles guests to a free stay voucher for the other city’s Fu Hwa Hotel (valid until June 30, 2018). The two hotels have jointly introduced this special offer priced at NT$5,500, which includes buffet breakfasts at both hotels.

This “Taichung-Kaohsiung Twin Cities Tour” accommodation package allows guests to stay one night in a “Premium Single/Double Room” at Taichung Fu Hwa Grand Hotel and one night in a “Deluxe Twin Room” at Kaohsiung Fu Hwa Grand Hotel, with options for both a “3-day, 2-night” stay and more flexible arrangements via the “free stay voucher” for the other city.

Taichung Fu Hwa and Kaohsiung Fu Hwa Grand Hotels noted that to enhance the usability of the package, aside from the 3-day, 2-night itinerary, the inclusion of the other city’s stay via a “free stay voucher” offers added convenience for travelers. This not only caters to the 27-day winter vacation travel period but also allows the complimentary voucher—valid until June 30, 2018—to be used during holidays such as New Year’s Day, Lunar New Year’s Eve, the Spring Festival, the Qingming Festival holiday, and the Dragon Boat Festival holiday with an additional fee. For travelers, this means fulfilling accommodation needs in both Taichung and Kaohsiung with a single purchase.

Taichung Fu Hwa and Kaohsiung Fu Hwa Grand Hotels stated that this package allows guests to secure stays at both Fu Hwa hotels in one go, with discounts surpassing those of annual travel fairs. It is expected to significantly boost domestic room bookings at both properties. Coupled with the promotional alliance between the “Central Taiwan Tourism Promotion Committee” and the “Southern Taiwan Tourism Industry Alliance,” it will also effectively stimulate local tourism.
