Experience heroism in action: Osaka amusement park offers a "Heroic Menu" with thug scenarios

The scene of sacrificing oneself to save others is familiar from movies, but few people likely have firsthand experience in real life. A Japanese amusement park has introduced a special service where "actors play thugs" to hassle visitors, allowing guests to directly confront them.

According to the UK's Daily Mail, Hirakata Park in Osaka is a great destination for family outings. Recently, the park launched a "thugs causing trouble" scenario experience, which may attract more couples—provided the men are up for playing the hero. The park has also uploaded a video on YouTube explaining this new service, featuring a couple dealing with two thugs.

For visitors uninterested in this service, the "Heroic Menu" offers other options, such as donating blood to save lives or defusing bombs. Of course, these are all for entertainment purposes. These activities are included in the ticket price, but interested participants must book in advance. The service runs in May and June, starting at 1 PM.
