Spring Music Festival Kicks Off in April – Kenting Hotels Offer Holiday Stay Deals

Kenting’s biggest annual event, the Spring Music Festival, is set to make a lively return this April. Since its inception in 1995, Spring Scream has become a mecca for music lovers to showcase their talents and connect through music. Many notable Taiwanese bands have performed at Spring Scream, and making a pilgrimage to the festival has long been synonymous with “youth” for many.

With an increasingly diverse lineup of events in recent years, the festival has been renamed the “Spring Music Festival.” It combines performances from the original Spring Scream and other events such as Spring Wave, organized by Friend Dog. The rich and varied program draws both domestic and international visitors to Kenting, as the destination warmly welcomes everyone to join Taiwan’s most energetic and passionate annual music celebration.

The Spring Music Festival in early April brings a surge of visitors to Kenting, marking the official start of the peak season. During the festival, Kenting Main Street will be flooded with young people, where bikinis, straw hats, beach shorts, sunglasses, and flip-flops become the essential outfit. A wide range of musical styles—including jazz, blues, hip-hop, rock, and reggae—will be performed across various stages with full energy.

Zhang Jiguang, General Manager of Kenting Fuhwa Resort Hotel, noted that this year’s four-day consecutive holiday starts on April 4, coinciding with the Spring Music Festival when a large number of music pilgrims will flock to the area. With the holiday being longer than usual, it is also expected to spark a wave of family travel. Kenting Fuhwa’s “Spring Scream Package” runs from April 4 to 6 for a 2-day-1-night stay, starting at NT$8,100+10% per room, which includes one night in a deluxe twin mountain-view room, breakfast for two, plus complimentary afternoon tea for two. Additionally, a 3-day-2-night package is available from April 3 to 7, starting at NT$11,000+10% per room, featuring two nights in a deluxe twin mountain-view room and breakfast for two.
