The world’s largest garden—breathtakingly crafted as if you’re stepping into a fairy tale world

In 2010, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa knocked Taipei 101 off the top spot to become the world’s tallest skyscraper, and even the Royal Clock Tower Hotel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, completed in 2012, couldn’t compete, settling for second place. But Dubai’s ambition to be “number one” is boundless—it has just unveiled what it claims to be the world’s largest natural garden.

Covering an area of 7.2 hectares, this garden is called the Dubai Miracle Garden. It is built within Dubailand and opened on Valentine’s Day this year. With 45 million fresh flowers, the colorful blooms are arranged into various shapes—circles, squares, heart shapes, arches, and even umbrella-like circus tent structures. The ingenious design by the creative team makes this garden feel like a fairy tale world.

Dubai has a subtropical climate and is mostly desert. The creation of the Miracle Garden was made possible through drip irrigation techniques, bringing this miraculous landscape to life. The garden’s official website proudly calls itself “the masters of greenery and experts in flowering”—and rightly so.

To maintain the flowers’ beauty, visitors are strictly prohibited from picking or breaking any blooms, bringing pets, or riding bicycles inside the garden.
