If you’re planning to shop at a weekend market in Bangkok, Thailand, it’s no longer just about exploring Chatuchak Weekend Market during the day. Located near the Bang Sue Railway Yard, the “Railway Weekend Market” (Talat Rot Fai), set in unused warehouses provided by the Thai State Railway, now offers a new night-time experience starting from 6 PM.

The newly popular “Railway Weekend Market” opened last July in unused warehouses provided by the Thai State Railway. Thanks to its retro flea market vibes, delicious street food, and unique atmosphere, it has quickly become a must-visit tourist destination. The old railway warehouses are filled with antique furniture shops and restaurants, which get bustling once night falls. The best time to visit is between 5 PM and 1 AM on Saturdays and Sundays; small antique shops are open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, with extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

How to get there:
Take the MRT to Kamphaeng Phet Station to easily reach the Railway Market. Exit onto Kamphaeng Phet Road, then head in the opposite direction toward the intersection (away from Chatuchak Weekend Market). The market is about 500 meters from the MRT station. Bangkok’s Railway Weekend Market (Talat Rot Fai) is open every Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to midnight.
