2013 Gongliao Ocean Music Festival – Band Competition Registration Now Open

This year’s Ocean Indie Music Awards feature a top prize of NT$200,000 for the “Ocean Indie Music Awards,” NT$50,000 for the “Jury’s Grand Prize,” and three other awards including the “Ocean Star.” Over the years, bands that have honed their skills on the Ocean Stage—such as Chen Qizhen, Sandwich, Tizzy Bac, Won Fu, Sodagreen, Totem, Chang Xuan, Poe Monkey, Luka Bloom, Matzka, and Boxing—have each carved out their own niche in the Chinese music scene with diverse musical styles. Last year’s Ocean Indie Music Awards winner, Random, is set to perform at the Beijing Midi Festival in late April, bringing the passion and rock charm of the Ocean Music Festival across the strait.http://www.2013hohaiyan.tw
