April is just around the corner, and many people have the tradition of eating spring rolls during the Qingming Festival. The fillings vary depending on local ingredients, reflecting the diverse regional flavors and creativity across Taiwan. So, which spring rolls are the most popular among locals? A "Top 10 Delicious Spring Rolls in Taiwan" poll organized by a well-known domestic website attracted 560,000 participants, and the final rankings were determined by food critics, journalists, and bloggers who sampled and scored the rolls.

The final rankings of the top 10 delicious spring rolls in Taiwan are: "Ah Hong Spring Roll Wrap," "Three Generations Spring Rolls," "Liu Family Spring Roll Wrap," "Lai Lai Spring Rolls," "Beigang Spring Rolls," "Ma Li Spring Roll Wrap," "Yang Qinghua Spring Rolls," "Guo Family Heritage Spring Rolls," "Happy Spring Rolls," and "Golden Spring Rolls." Special awards also went to "Black Bridge Sausage Spring Rolls" and "Osmanthus Spring Roll Wrap."

The top-ranked "Ah Hong Spring Roll Wrap" has three locations across Taipei. Foodies need to time their visit right to get their hands on one. Run by a family, Ah Hong Spring Rolls features the father making handmade whole wheat wrappers at the stall, while the mother and son develop a variety of flavors to meet customer preferences. Their signature curry pickled radish flavor is unique, and they also offer a healthy, veggie-based series tailored for office workers.

Coming in second place is Kaohsiung’s "Three Generations Spring Rolls." Its delicate, smooth wrappers paired with sausages, braised pork, fried eggs, and distinctive peanut powder make it irresistible—its popularity has lasted 60 years. In third place is "Liu Family Spring Roll Wrap" in front of Zhongli Railway Station, where long queues are a common sight. In addition to standard ingredients like cabbage, braised pork, peanut powder, cilantro, and bean sprouts, it adds shredded pork floss and crispy egg, enhancing both texture and aroma.

Ranked fourth is "Lai Lai Spring Rolls" from Linkou Night Market, a hidden gem beloved by foodies. At just NT$20 each, these rolls are both affordable and delicious. Fifth place goes to "Beigang Spring Rolls" from Hualien Ziqiang Night Market, where besides pork, you can also choose black pepper beef, with options including garlic, mustard, spicy, and original flavors.
