Taiwanese students get free entry to the National Palace Museum starting April 1

Starting April 1, the National Palace Museum offers free admission to Taiwanese students as an incentive to visit. However, tickets are still required for paid special exhibitions outside the main hall.
Museum tickets are expected to increase from NT$160 to NT$250 starting July 1 this year. To encourage students to appreciate art, from April 1, those holding valid student IDs from schools officially registered with the Ministry of Education can enter the main exhibition halls of the museum for free. Before visiting, students need to draw a number at the service desk on the first floor of the main hall. Domestic students can also enjoy a 50% discount on personal audio guide devices.
