SpongeBob and Patrick Star make cameo appearances as Easter eggs—London streets are bursting with joy!

The first Sunday after the spring equinox and full moon is Easter in Western countries, and most nations host “Easter egg hunts.” Recently, giant Easter eggs have appeared all over London’s Covent Garden, creatively designed in various shapes that bring liveliness and laughter to the streets.

This is the second year London has hosted what’s being called “the world’s largest Easter egg hunt.” Before Easter, organizers hid over 100 eggs across the city, inviting the public to find them. This year’s event collaborated with various artists to design unique eggs, including popular cartoon characters beloved by kids, such as SpongeBob and Adventure Time’s Finn and Jake.

These fiberglass eggs can not only be photographed with on-site but can also be bid on and collected via the official website. Alternatively, people can use their phones to find the artists behind the designs and interact with them.
