Tom Cruise’s Taiwan Visit Countdown: Mini Salad Bar Moves into Presidential Suite

International superstar Tom Cruise is set to visit Taiwan on April 5 and 6, staying one night at a five-star hotel where the room rate is NT$130,000. The hotel has specially arranged a “private shopping concierge” and an “exclusive salad bar,” allowing Cruise to enjoy meals and shop without leaving his room or being disturbed.

Lin Pei-hsuan, deputy director of public relations at the Regent Taipei, explained that to accommodate international superstar Tom Cruise, the hotel’s executive chef has created a mini version of the renowned Organic Green Wave Salad Bar. Cruise can enjoy “locally grown organic fruits and vegetables from Taiwan,” as well as traditional Taiwanese pastries such as pineapple cakes and mung bean cakes, all without leaving his room. The hotel’s award-winning beef noodle soup will also be among the delicacies served in his suite.

Additionally, Lin Pei-hsuan noted that a one-of-a-kind “private shopping concierge” service, unique to Taiwan, will be provided for Cruise. Led by Jesse Hung, a private concierge consultant who has served global superstars such as Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Lady Gaga, and Linda Huang, a multilingual luxury shopping concierge from Regent Galleria, the team will offer Cruise personalized luxury consulting and appreciation services for a private shopping experience. In-room spa and premium aromatherapy treatments are also arranged to help Cruise relax and recharge at any time.
