The Taipei International Travel Fair kicks off on May 5th at the World Trade Center Hall 1. In addition to discounts from hotels, travel agencies, and theme parks, major airlines are also offering special fares to global destinations to cater to Taiwan’s large population of independent travelers. Popular routes to Japan and South Korea such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul start from NT$6,666, and there are even 0 NT$ round-trip tickets from Taipei to Vietnam. Don’t miss out if you’re planning a summer trip.

Tigerair Taiwan

Customers who visit the Tigerair Taiwan booth (Booth No. A511) during the Taipei International Travel Fair and finalize their flight bookings on-site not only have the chance to enjoy an additional 10% discount on fares but will also receive exclusive travel fair lottery tickets and transaction gifts. Those who purchase any flight + hotel self-guided tour package from a travel agency at the Tigerair Taiwan booth can also get lottery tickets and transaction gifts. Tigerair Taiwan has prepared 14 round-trip tickets from Taoyuan to selected destinations to give away to customers who make transactions at the travel fair.

China Airlines

To thank passengers and celebrate the launch of the "Three Bears Yoda" flight, from April 18th to May 16th, China Airlines is offering special fares for all routes in its online travel fair section. Deals include: Taoyuan to Ryukyu starting from NT$5,800, Taoyuan to Seoul starting from NT$6,990, and Taoyuan to Rome starting from NT$25,000 (all prices exclude tax). Additionally, China Airlines is offering extra discounts for purchases made on-site at the travel fair. Customers who book tickets on the website and enter a discount code can enjoy NT$500 off per regional route ticket, NT$1,000 off per long-haul ticket, NT$150 off per Hong Kong route ticket, and up to NT$1,200 off on premium travel products.

Mandarin Airlines

In response to increased flight frequencies to Makung and Kinmen and the upcoming summer vacation, Mandarin Airlines has specially designed the “Summer Island Hopping Fun” package. This includes: a 3-day, 2-night tour to Makung’s Sheraton 5-star hotel starting from NT$6,990, a 1-day Kinmen Fashion Tour starting from NT$1,999, a 3-day island-hopping tour from Taitung to Orchid Island and Green Island starting from NT$8,990, and a 2-night, 3-day Penghu Fireworks Festival package with flights and accommodation for NT$5,999—all great deals for exploring the islands without breaking the bank.

EVA Air

For its newly launched Sanrio livery aircraft, EVA Air is offering special fares. The Penguin Excursion aircraft offers round-trip flights from Taipei to Fukuoka starting from NT$8,439 and to Seoul starting from NT$5,723. The Dream and Party aircraft offer round-trip flights to Tokyo for NT$9,603 and to Shanghai for NT$8,488. The Friendship aircraft operates round-trips to Okinawa starting from NT$3,880 and to Osaka starting from NT$7,081 (all prices exclude tax).

There are also selected popular summer routes, including: round-trip flights from Taipei to Singapore starting from NT$6,790 (excluding tax), Chicago starting from NT$25,372 (including tax), Vancouver starting from NT$25,958 (including tax), Tokyo starting from NT$7,857 (excluding tax), Cebu starting from NT$6,693 (excluding tax), Bangkok starting from NT$11,834 (excluding tax), London starting from NT$20,855 (excluding tax), and Los Angeles starting from NT$26,406. An additional NT$100 discount is available via the mobile app, NT$500 off for all routes and cabin classes at the travel fair, and NT$200 off for economy class tickets to Hong Kong and Macau.

Japan Airlines

Japan Airlines is offering limited-time travel fair promotions, with round-trip tickets to Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, and Nagoya starting from NT$6,666. Tokyo/Osaka round-trip tickets + 1 night accommodation start from NT$7,900. For U.S. routes, deals include round-trip tickets to the U.S. West Coast starting from NT$22,046 and to the U.S. East Coast starting from NT$26,546 (all prices exclude tax).

VietJet Air

VietJet Air is offering great deals at the travel fair, releasing 18,000 promo tickets priced at 0 NT$ daily between 1 PM and 3 PM on its official website for customers to snap up. The travel fair also features discounted fares, travel packages, and on-site gifts for those who check in.
