Winter is strawberry season, but as prices keep climbing, few vendors dare to sell at a loss. Yet one wildly popular red bean pancake shop in Chiayi has developed over 15 creative flavors, drawing media attention. In November, they launched a limited-edition strawberry flavor—stuffed with fresh strawberries from Dahu, Miaoli, layered with strawberry jam and vanilla custard. The sweet-tart filling makes your mouth water just looking at it.

Located in Chiayi, “3 Fen Tian Red Bean Pancake” has been around for nearly seven years, often drawing long queues. On November 16, they started selling their vanilla-strawberry flavor early—cool, juicy strawberries mixed with strawberry jam and vanilla custard, paired with a hot, crispy crust. One bite releases bursts of sweet juice, flooding your taste buds. Each pancake costs just NT$25.

The shop sources strawberries directly from Dahu fruit farmers in Miaoli, with a daily limit of about 50 servings. Once sold out, that’s it. The vanilla-strawberry flavor is the first in their new strawberry series.

Additionally, the shop offers 15 unique flavors—including black tea latte, taro pearls, signature peanut, sour berry mix, caramel salt, and red bean Malay—rotating daily without fixed schedules. Some flavors may be teased in advance on their social media. Prices range from NT$10 to NT$25, making them a must-try snack for strolls.
