Located in Kaohsiung, Good Partner Coffee has been around for five years. It initially had only one branch, but this year it rapidly expanded to three locations. The growth rate is quite impressive. The café is pet-friendly and features a dreamy photo spot filled with clouds. As for the food, their signature 3D latte art has long been well-known. Recently, they introduced a new “bathtub rice” dish and a photo latte art, sparking another wave of buzz.

Bathtub Rice
This dish is actually a creative term coined by the shop. It’s inspired by the concept of a steak rice plate. The name comes from the wooden basin at the bottom, which resembles a bathtub. The dish leans more toward Western flavors and has a slightly sweet taste.

Angus Beef Short Rib Bathtub Rice - 400 TWD
This dish is inspired by the concept of a steak rice plate. Traditionally, steak is often served with noodles, but this beef short rib bathtub rice uses Prime-grade beef. The beef is pan-seared, cut into pieces, and served with a sunny-side-up egg, cauliflower, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, and carrots — offering a rich and satisfying flavor.

Roasted Cherry Duck Breast Bathtub Rice - 360 TWD
The duck breast is first pan-seared and then roasted in the oven until it reaches about 70-80% doneness, resulting in a pinkish color. It’s then drizzled with a specially made orange-based sauce.

The pancake is made with fresh seasonal fruits. Unlike regular pancakes, this one includes durian inside and is soft and fluffy. The design on the pancake is customizable or created based on the barista’s skills — all free of charge — aiming to offer customers a unique surprise.

The café states that 3D latte art is only available for hot beverages. Options include bears and snowmen, but customization is also offered. They have previously made designs such as Gudetama, Cup Noodles, Kumamon, Peebo, Old Pip, Winnie the Pooh, and Anpanman. Customers are welcome to “place orders.” “We don’t just want a simple character on top — we also draw additional details. As long as customers let us know in advance online or verbally what they’d like, and give us time to practice and prepare, we’ll do our best to create the 3D latte art they want.”

For cold drinks, photo latte art can be created using a 3D latte art machine. Customers can purchase this as an add-on. Like 3D latte art, it requires milk-based or latte drinks. The colors in the photo are all food-grade dyes, so they’re completely safe to consume.
