Following the healing experience brought by Hong Kong’s giant yellow duck exhibition, the city is now offering culinary comfort that warms the heart through the taste buds. The Hong Kong Tourism Board launched three-day free-and-easy itineraries starting from just NT$8,888 including tax at the Taipei International Travel Fair. Each purchased package comes with a HK$60 cash voucher for "Siu Mei King" Tai Hing Restaurant in Hong Kong. The three-day NT$8,888 including tax itinerary includes options such as San Duo Travel’s offer of a twin room at 8 Degrees Harmonia, which comes with a welcome drink, afternoon tea, the hotel’s signature butterfly pastry, and an upgrade to a Patio View room with a view of the atrium. Guoyu Travel offers quad rooms at The Royal Park Hotel, with complimentary upgrades to harbor-view rooms, free round-trip airport-hotel transfers via a seven-seater SUV, a full-day Octopus card for the MTR, and a lunch experience coupon at Tsui Wah Café. Southeast Travel presents the boutique East Hong Kong Hotel, starting from just NT$9,900 including tax for three days, with the first fifty bookings also receiving a HK$50 Häagen-Dazs cash voucher in Hong Kong. Additionally, Wu Fu Travel offers packages starting from NT$11,999 including tax for three days, with a choice of eight new hotels, plus complimentary two-day tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland, an Octopus card, and free rental of Handy mobile phones.

Also included is an exchange voucher for one classic dim sum meal at the one-Michelin-star Tim Ho Wan, featuring five classic Hong Kong-style dim sum items and a pot of tea, valued at NT$180, as well as a Victoria Harbour cruise (including one drink), where you can sail the harbor on a traditional Chinese-style boat. Plus, choose one extra gift from four options: a ticket to Hong Kong Ocean Park, entry to Madame Tussauds and a round-trip Peak Tram ticket plus a one-way Airport Express ticket, the Ngong Ping 360 sea-air-land combo ticket plus a full-day MTR pass, or a Big Bus one-day tour including round-trip bus tickets and a full-day MTR pass.

Baiwei Travel offers five-star InterContinental Hong Kong packages for quad occupancy starting from NT$13,888 including tax, which not only includes an upgrade to a harbor-view room but also a complimentary round-trip Mercedes-Benz transfer between Hong Kong Airport and the hotel (one car for four people), or you can opt for a round-trip Airport Express ticket and a full-day MTR pass, plus a Big Bus single-route tour and a round-trip Star Ferry ticket. In addition, San Duo Travel offers an exclusive market-top Peninsula Hotel package for three days, which is surprisingly affordable — just NT$19,888 including tax, with extras like hotel breakfast, Peninsula Hotel chocolate, a full-day MTR pass, and a Big Bus night tour.

This year, the Hong Kong Pavilion continues the spirit of the "Tastes of Hong Kong" food and art exhibition, consistently using food as the theme to communicate the city’s East-meets-West culinary charm to Taiwanese travelers. Shirley Tsui, Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, said that in addition to everyone getting a chance to win a Tai Hing cash voucher when purchasing a Hong Kong package, travel agencies are also offering Michelin cuisine packages, with options including top-tier Cantonese restaurants with two Michelin stars or affordable dim sum restaurants with Michelin recognition. There are also gifts such as hotel afternoon tea or cha chaan teng experience coupons. So when you travel to Hong Kong now, aside from seeing the little duck, don’t forget to heal and reward yourself with delicious food.
