Feed me, feed me, feed me now — Taipei’s hottest new brunch spot“We Feed You The Whale”has only been open for three months, but its photo-worthy interior and tasty dishes have already captured the hearts of young people. To sustain the craze, the shop has launched a brand-new menu, adding an “Omelet Series” that turns traditional omelets into hearty, pizza-like creations. Their “Seasonal Specials” also featurea burger patty co-created with Hutong BBQ, combining classic wagyu beef with sweet-and-sour avocado— a burst of creativity that’s truly astonishing.

▲ Just three months after opening, We Feed You has become a must-visit brunch destination in Taipei. Its clean blue-and-white exterior makes it perfect for Instagram photos.
In developing the new menu, the team focused on two core ideas: “offering dishes not commonly found in Taiwan” and “highlighting nutritional value.” That means introducing Western-style, healthy meals inspired by the team’s own global travels, while striving to keep flavors authentic and satisfying without compromising on taste.

▲ The new menu keeps fan-favorite dishes and adds many inventive options using seasonal ingredients, aiming to deliver healthy yet genuine cuisine.
The “Seasonal Specials”series marks the beginning of their bold push to challenge market tastes. The “Avocado Patty Supreme”pairs house-made mashed avocado sauce with wagyu beef from their Hutong BBQ collaboration, elevating the humble burger patty to a whole new level. The “Slow-Roasted Black Beans”combines black beans with slices of avocado, resulting in a nutrient-packed dish. And drawing inspiration from a well-known New York brunch spot, the“Mexican Grilled Rice”features a unique sauce that whets the appetite and completely redefines your impression of grilled corn.

▲ Among the “Omelet Series,” the “Smoked Salmon & Cucumber Yogurt” omelet features yogurt made in-house, blended with diced cucumbers for a refreshing, light flavor.
The “Omelet”is another star of the new additions, with each omelet presented open-faced, looking as grand as a pizza.!One standout option is the“Smoked Salmon & Cucumber Yogurt”flavor — the yogurt is homemade, mixed with cucumber bits for a tangy, crisp texture. Paired with smoked salmon and a perfectly cooked omelet with a slight char, it’s a great pick for adventurous eaters.

▲ The “Avocado Poached Egg Sandwich” breaks from traditional sandwich designs with an open-faced presentation.
In addition to the two aforementioned series, the new menu incorporates many avocado elements, such as“Avocado Poached Egg Sandwich”, which features an open-face design—different from the typical enclosed sandwich feel. When you cut into the runny yolk, its juices slowly flow into the avocado spread, offering a sweet and sour taste paired with a savory note, resulting in a refreshingly light flavor. By the way, regarding the avocado, the shop insists on using freshly scooped fruit made daily, and whether it’s available depends on the ripeness of the avocados each day. Fans of avocado can inquire in advance to check if it's in stock.
Shop manager Liang mentioned in an interview that the goal is to make Feed Me Breakfast a place with a “sense of everyday life,” existing as comfortably as a friend—always there when you need it, without being too pricey. Liang also noted plans to add an outdoor dining area this summer, allowing customers to enjoy authentic American cuisine while experiencing the feeling of dining abroad. Those looking for a relaxing international vibe might want to keep an eye out for it.
