No idea where to go on a hot holiday? Visiting an exhibition to enjoy art while staying cool is a great choice. Works by French Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir will be on display at the Library and Information Building of the Palace Museum starting May 25. The exhibition is divided into six major themes: Women in Hats, Women, Flowers, Countryside and Music, Southern France and the Mediterranean, and Physical Expression. A total of 65 pieces showcase the beautiful landscapes and figures under the brush of the "Master of Happiness."

Renoir’s works always convey a sense of warmth and happiness, earning him the title of "painter of happiness." Although he suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for over 20 years in his 78-year life, he vividly captured beautiful moments of landscapes and figures through his art. The artworks in this exhibition mainly come from the collection of the POLA Museum of Art in Japan, along with pieces from museums in Japan, the United States, and France.
