"How adorable is this chocolate house!" Cai Jiayun, the younger daughter of Daking Leisure Farm owner Cai Chengwen, who graduated with a degree in culinary arts, put her skills to use during her spare time to handcraft chocolate houses as a Christmas-themed attraction. Aside from being used as decorations, they are also given away free to guests who book a room during the Christmas season. The promotional strategy of "book one room, get one chocolate house" has pleasantly surprised customers. Due to their resemblance to the farm’s wooden cabins, visitors have exclaimed, "So unique!"

Cai Jiayun explained that the concept behind making the chocolate houses is similar to gingerbread houses. First, a whole block of chocolate is melted using a double boiler, then poured into molds. Once solidified, the entire structure is assembled—care is taken to ensure both stability and aesthetic appeal during assembly. Finally, decorations such as leaves and Christmas trees are added, and white powdered sugar is sprinkled on to resemble snow. The whole process takes about one and a half hours per house.

Within a week, Cai Jiayun made 30 chocolate houses using all-natural chocolate. Except for the small decorative elements on top, the entire structure is edible. However, their cute appearance makes it hard for anyone to take a bite. Cai Jiayun noted that if stored in a cool, dry place, the chocolate houses can last for about six months.

The finished chocolate houses are displayed in the farm’s restaurant, filling the air with their rich aroma. Even guests visiting the farm can’t help but take a second look, and some children have even directly asked their parents, "Buy it for me, please!" This has also become an unconventional marketing highlight for the farm.
