The Sumida River Fireworks Festival is renowned asTokyo's most prestigious summer fireworks display in the metropolitan area. Together with the Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival and the Meiji Shrine Outer Garden Fireworks Festival, it is known as one of the “TokyoThree Great Fireworks Festivals,” attracting over 1 million visitors each year to admire the spectacle. Held on the last Saturday of July every year, the Sumida River Fireworks Festival takes place along both banks of the Sumida River in the Asakusa and Honjo districts. This year, the main venue will be between Sakurabashi and Kawanarihashi bridges, and Komagata Bridge to Kumata Bridge.
