Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Beitou Zhuzihhu Line – Voice Guide by Liu Kechang & 12 Exclusive Attractions

The "Beitou Zhuzihhu Line" of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle began operations on June 30, covering three major themes: hot springs, nature, and travel. The route extends from downtown Beitou at the foot of the mountain to Yangmingshan and Zhuzihhu in the hills.Along the way, it passes popular attractions such as Beitou Park, Sulfur Valley, Yangmingshan Park, Grass Mountain Chateau, and Yangmingshu House, offering a wealth of cultural history, natural ecology, and diverse sightseeing experiences. Whether it's the nostalgic ambiance of the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, the ever-changing charm of Yangmingshan across the four seasons, or the romantic calla lily trails of Zhuzihhu in spring, travelers can easily explore these sites via this route.

Taipei City has joined the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle program for the first time this year with the "Beitou Zhuzihhu Line." Tourism Bureau Director-General Chao Hsin-ping noted that in addition to unique interior design themes inside the buses, the three shuttle buses also play distinctive theme music, allowing passengers to enjoy a delightful musical experience during the ride. Moreover, carefully selected sounds of common and iconic Yangmingshan wildlife—such as the Taipei tree frog, Taiwan blue magpie, Yangmingshan evening cicada, Formosan fairy pitta, and Taiwan yuhina—have been combined with children’s voiceovers to create custom bus stop chimes, accompanying travelers as they disembark and explore.

The "Beitou Zhuzihhu Line" transforms the existing small No. 9 bus that shuttles between Beitou and Zhuzihhu into the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle "Beitou Zhuzihhu Line." Renowned writer Liu Kechang has specially recorded an exclusive audio guide for the attractions along the route. By scanning the QR codes on the bus seatbacks with their mobile phones, passengers can enjoy a relaxing journey through Liu Kechang’s 12 exclusive attractions, guided by his “voice” and unique insights.
