Waited two years—Tokyo’s “Blue Grotto” is back, and the romantic blue tunnel is the hot spot!

It’s Christmas again~ It’s Christmas again~ With the Japanese yen weakening and winter approaching,Japanis an especially atmospheric place to spend Christmas. And after a two-year absence,Tokyo’s “Blue Grotto” will be lit up again and moved to a route stretching from Shibuya Park to Yoyogi Park, transforming approximately 750 meters into a glowing tunnel.

AlthoughJapancalls it “Blue,” in fact the tunnel creates a dreamy atmosphere reminiscent of the Mediterranean coast. Compared to previous years, when it covered only 500 meters and used 400,000 LED lights, this year it has been upgraded to nearly 550,000 blue LED lights. From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. every evening, the space will transform from darkness into a sea of blue.

Previously held in Nakameguro, the lights used to wrap around the Meguro River, with reflections on the water sparkling brilliantly. It attracted people of all ages to take photos, and the area is also packed with bars and cafes, making it a great spot for a post-dinner stroll. This year, the event moves to a park—will it be just as spectacular?
