Get wet without getting sunburned – Kenting Fuhwa’s “Water World” brings five thrilling wave levels to its man-made sea

As scorching weather and rising temperatures signal the official arrival of summer, water parks across Taiwan are rolling out summer promotions. For those who love splashing around but want to avoid the sun, Kenting’s indoor Water World water park in southern Taiwan is the perfect choice. Starting today, Water World is launching the “Let’s Check-In Together” campaign, where visitors can enjoy ticket discounts by sharing their Facebook check-ins, with a 40% discount during the summer vacation period.

Kenting’s indoor water park “Water World” features 10 water play facilities. As an indoor venue, it is completely unaffected by weather conditions, allowing visitors to enjoy water activities freely without worrying about the summer sun. Guests can float along the lazy river, ride the waves in the man-made ocean with five different wave levels, or challenge the UFO slide – a popular attraction on variety shows – to experience the thrill of a free-fall in water.

Among them, the “Man-Made Ocean”, with a depth of 2 meters and covering nearly 600 square meters, offers visitors a safe and relaxing environment to enjoy five upgraded wave types while floating effortlessly on a raft. The “Fantasy Slide” consists of four slides that twist and turn 360 degrees as they descend from the third floor, delivering an adrenaline-pumping speed rush and the excitement of plunging into the water. The “Wellness Pool” features massage chairs, flotation baths, geysers, and water jet massages. The 90-centimeter-deep “Lazy River” uses figure-eight inflatable tubes, perfect for a romantic couples’ ride or group fun, allowing everyone to unwind completely.

There’s also a “Family Interactive Pool” suitable for all ages, equipped with kid-friendly slides and various water sprays, letting children enjoy a joyful splash-filled time. The “E-Slide” also descends from the third floor, twisting and turning 360 degrees before diving down at high speed, delivering an exhilarating splash-filled ride. And then there’s the unique UFO funnel-design “UFO Slide”, with a depth of 3 meters, which challenges both bravery and physical limits – a favorite on domestic variety shows.

Summer is the peak season for family travel, and Kenting Fuhwa Resort Hotel reports very strong booking activity this year. Room occupancy in July is around 70–80%, and 60–70% in August. Earlier this year, Kenting Fuhwa completed a full renovation of its guest rooms, not only updating furniture and carpets, but also refreshing room styles with different color schemes that reflect Kenting’s vibrancy and energy. Even the large, dry-wet separated bathrooms have been renovated, now offering a completely new look and higher-quality service.

To coincide with the upcoming summer travel peak, Kenting Fuhwa Resort Hotel is launching the “Summer Early Bird Promotion”, inviting guests to stay in the newly renovated rooms. The hotel’s “Free & Easy Package” offers two-person bookings at NT$8,070 per room (on selected dates), including one night in a premium mountain-view room, breakfast, a Western dinner, Water World tickets, and an indoor golf putting voucher.
