The World’s Hardest-to-Visit Pop-up Store: A Cliffside Shop in the U.S.

Many brand pop-up stores also have limited operating periods, so often you can only watch helplessly as the chance to visit slips away. But when it comes to the hardest-to-reach shop in the world, this one truly takes the crown.

In Eldorado Canyon, USA, a tiny shop has emerged right in the middle of a cliff — accessible only by climbing. And what exactly does this shop sell? Is it a café?

The Cliffside Shop, perched on a 300-foot cliff, is actually a promotional stunt by gear and apparel designer 37.5 Technology. The shop offers free gear such as clothing and equipment to hikers. During the two-day event, gifts were given to around 70 hikers. In addition, the event raised $15,000 USD for rebuilding local hiking trails.

Don’t let the small size of this pop-up shop fool you — it took six weeks to build and was an incredibly complex project.

Here you can enjoy breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset, and being a shop assistant here must be quite an experience too. I wonder if other regions will launch similar initiatives?
