This “dreamy smoothie” is packed with so many toppings it looks like a bouquet — and you can only get it here!

Summer is just around the corner, and a refreshing drink sounds perfect. This year, are layered drinks, sparkling beverages, milk teas, or fruit slushies in vogue? Why not try the dreamy smoothie that’s been all the rage on Instagram lately? It’s loaded with grapes and strawberries, making for an eye-catching presentation. The bottom layer consists of smoothie, whipped cream, and ice cream, while the top is piled high with a variety of fruits. Dreamy yet a little indulgent — one sip and you might just finish the whole cup.

With one branch in Zhongli and another in Changhua, GOU JIA Fruit & Juice specializes in freshly made juices and smoothies. They start by blending fresh fruits into smoothies, then top them with whipped cream and ice cream, finishing with a generous heap of seasonal fruits. A single large cup is packed to the brim — the presentation is outrageously tempting. Depending on the season, they feature strawberries and grapes, making the drink look like a flower when held in hand. These beautiful beverages have quickly become a hit on Instagram.

The shop’s main offerings are freshly made juices, along with extended drinks such as smoothies and slushies, plus light meals. The most popular drink is the “Chicken Call” series, which adds a layer of ice cream to a colorful smoothie and tops it off with a generous pile of fruit. From the earlier Strawberry Chicken Call to the “Summer Chicken Call” series — Yoyo Yo-Yo, Why Are You So Dark?, Will You Marry Me?, and Grape Chicken Grape Chicken — there are four unique flavors and names. These drinks are made with grapefruit, seedless black grapes, kiwi, seedless green grapes, and various smoothie bases, resulting in super photogenic dreamy beverages.

The Summer Chicken Call series includes four drinks. “Why Are You So Dark?” uses seedless black grapes paired with a banana-based smoothie base; “Grape Chicken Grape Chicken” combines seedless green grapes with a blueberry smoothie base; “Yoyo Yo-Yo” features a slice of grapefruit with a creative grape juice; and “Will You Marry Me?” pairs kiwi with the signature strawberry smoothie. Each cup is incredibly filling, making it a satisfying meal-sized drink for girls.

If you’re into Korean-style drinks, you can also try the shop’s strawberry milk. Served in a transparent glass bottle, you can see the pink fruit pulp inside — making this strawberry milk more than just milk. The fresh milk is perfectly blended with strawberry bits, making it as adorable as it is photogenic.
