Christmas Night Tour in Northeast Coast – The Most Romantic Experience! The Northeast Coast & Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration and Farglory Hotel jointly present the “Light Spots · Fulong” series of events. When night falls, from 5 pm to 10 pm, you can admire stunning and romantic Christmas lights along the route from Fulong Railway Station to Provincial Highway 2, creating a joyful festive atmosphere and making Fulong the latest hotspot for holiday photos.

The Northeast Coast Scenic Area Administration and Farglory Hotel have collaborated to create the “Light Spots Creative Light Zones” in Fulong, Gongliao District, New Taipei City. Over 10 creative light zones are set up along the route from Fulong Railway Station and Fulong Visitor Center to Provincial Highway 2, all under the theme of “Happy Times,” turning the nighttime Fulong into a romantic starlit sky.

The area in front of Farglory Hotel’s banyan square has been transformed into the “Flower Forest & Butterfly Whispers” light zone, conveying the imagery of butterflies fluttering among blossoms, along with the 2-meter-long national bird, the Taiwan blue magpie, soaring overhead. Additionally, the “Happiness Starting Point” in front of the Shamrock Square features an installation art piece of Singapore’s Supertree Grove. The Kenting Visitor Center is designed as the “Ocean Romance” themed zone, exuding an exotic island vibe.

The scenic area administration noted that the “Beautiful Lychee Fulong” at the Fulong Visitor Center repurposes lychee-shaped light decorations left over from the 2014 Taiwan Lantern Festival, combining old and new elements. Meanwhile, the “Embracing the Sea” themed area on Provincial Highway 2 features a variety of marine creatures, encouraging visitors to pause and admire the beautiful “sea of lights.”

In addition, the scenic area administration has launched a “Prayer Card Activity.” From December 24 to March 4 of next year, the public can pick up prayer cards at the Fulong Visitor Center counter, write down wishes, and hang them on the prayer wall. After the event, the Lingjiushan Wusheng Monastery will jointly hold a blessing ceremony to pray for the well-being and peace of visitors and their families.

The “Fulong Welcomes the Dawn” event will take place at 3 am on New Year’s Day next year, featuring a concert and a special performance by the Gongliao Junior High School Taiko Team. A peace meditation session by the Lingjiushan Monastery will also be arranged to pray for the public. Furthermore, Farglory Hotel will offer 888 complimentary energy breakfasts to visitors on that day, inviting everyone to celebrate the New Year together.
