Budapest, Hungary, is known as the spa capital of Europe, and the Széchenyi Thermal Bath is the largest public thermal bath in Europe. Built in 1913, this large bath complex includes three outdoor hot springs as well as many indoor pools. The decor is mainly yellow, accented with Roman-style marble columns, giving the bathhouse the look of a luxurious palace fit for royalty. The circular, opulent architecture makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a movie scene.
