“Happy PA PA GO (Drums)” Night Tour of Kaohsiung

To promote nighttime sightseeing in Greater Kaohsiung, the Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau has collaborated with the Grammy-nominated “Ten Drum Art Percussion Group” to launch the local nighttime performance event “Happy PA PA GO (Drums).” The event also offers discounts on public transportation, hotel stays, and dining, aiming to energize the city’s nightlife with the slogan “Kaohsiung: The City That Never Sleeps, More Beautiful as the Night Grows Deeper.”

The “PA PA GO” EventTakes place every Monday to Sunday at 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM at the newly renovated Qiaotou Sugar RefineryFeaturing performances inspired by the local Songjiang Zhen martial arts performance, combined with water curtains, beacon towers, 4D projections, magical water stages, and drummers passionately playing in water—offering a world-class show without leaving Taiwan.

In addition to the Qiaotou Sugar Refinery performances, the Tourism Bureau has introduced various promotional benefits. From July 12 to September 14, Kaohsiung residents can enjoy half-price tickets by presenting their ID cards on Fridays and Saturdays. Visitors can also collect the “Kaohsiung Go Travel” coupon book, which includes various discount vouchers, for free at tourist service centers, high-speed rail stations, and other locations.

The public can also purchase tickets on the “Sun Sun Ticket Group Buying Network,” where a duo ticket package is available for just NT$499, including one night’s stay and one meal at the Grand Formosa Regent Hotel. Alternatively, they can join the city’s themed tours such as “River & Harbor Discovery – A Happily Memorable One-Day Trip” or “All-Inclusive Fun – A Two-Day Joyful Excursion.”
