Situated within Taroko National Park, “Taroko Grand Formosa Taroko” is close to the mountains, offering an instant escape from the noise of civilization and using the “closeness to nature” to calm the mind, body, and soul.

Zhao Jiaqi, Director of Taroko Grand Formosa Taroko, said, “What makes us most different from other hotels is that we are the only five-star resort hotel located within a national park in the country. The canyon pool on the rooftop is surrounded by towering mountain cliffs, giving you an intimate feeling of swimming in the valley. As for the indoor pool, it’s highly recommended for families with children. We will soon place over 20 large and small inflatable animal toys in the pool. For kids, it’s the first time they’ve seen so many water toys—it’s like a paradise.”

Zhao believes that while the hotel has abundant facilities, she strongly recommends guests to explore the trails around the hotel during the day. After all, when visiting a national park, don’t waste the picturesque scenery just outside your window.

When talking about “Taroko Grand Formosa Taroko,” one must not forget the Liwu River, which carries the history and spirit of the hotel.
