“Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” Ghostly Fun on the Xitou Line

The “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” Xitou Line has launched four major tourism themes this year, including “Supernatural Creativity.” Travelers can not only take the “Ghostly Special Bus” but also visit four themed attractions during the summer vacation for a chance to win big prizes such as an iPad mini and vouchers. Additionally, the “Xitou Line Big Player” travel plan competition offers winners over NT$10,000 in travel subsidies, free transportation, accommodation, and more perks.

The four major themes of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Xitou Line are:“Supernatural Creativity,” “Breathe in the Mountains,” “Local Crafts,” and “Savor Taiwanese Tea”Among them, the Supernatural Creativity theme features popular attractions such as Xitou Songlin Township Ghost Village and Zhushan’s Zinan Temple. The Breathe in the Mountains theme includes the Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park and Xitou Nature Education Area.

The Local Crafts theme highlights attractions such as Cai Mian Ju Bedroom Culture Museum, Umbrella Gallery, and Guangyuan Lantern Sightseeing Factory. For the Savor Taiwanese Tea theme, don’t miss the Lugu Township Tea Culture Museum, which combines tea ceremony culture and art.

During the summer vacation, visitors to the four themed attractions can snap a photo with any Xitou Tourist Shuttle bus stop sign, upload it to the “Happy Travel Nantou” Facebook fan page, or purchase the Xitou–Sun Moon Lake – Xitou ticket package, mail in the ticket cover, to enter a draw for an iPad mini, vouchers, and more. The Ghost Month Ghostly Special Bus will also kick off on August 7th, with registration now open.
