The Xitou Line of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle is offering travel rewards worth tens of thousands of New Taiwan Dollars to recruitXitou Super Players, whether you prefer writing articles or creating videos, as long as you submit creative and engaging content, you could ride the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Xitou Line, receive a travel subsidy provided by the organizers, head to Xitou for a trip, stay in the Monster Village, explore various attractions in Xitou, and the application deadline is July 15.

Xitou is one of Taiwan’s most popular summer retreats. Since the launch of the Xitou Line of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, it has provided the best transportation option for travelers visiting Xitou. Nantou County Government has also combined attractions along the route to create four major themed tours, allowing passengers to choose their stop based on their interests and preferences. The four themes include “Local Crafts & Creations,” featuring tourist factories that have transformed from traditional industries into leisure venues—such as Cotton Picking Home, Umbrella Collection Pavilion, and Guangyuan Lanterns; the currently super-popular attractions, the Wealth-Seeking Sacred Site Zinan Temple and Monster Village, are categorized under “Mythical & Creative”; those who want to get close to nature and learn about ecology shouldn’t miss the “Forest & Nature” theme, which includes the newly completed and opened Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park and Xitou’s most famous Natural Education Area; lastly, Lugu, home of Dongding Oolong tea, is also on the Xitou Line. Art-meets-tea experiences at Shanshan Tea Visit and the Lugu Tea Industry Culture Museum make up the “Taste Taiwan Tea” theme.

With such rich tourism resources, the Xitou Line is truly a hidden gem—but it all depends on how creatively you plan your trip. To that end, this year the Xitou Line of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle has specially launched the “Xitou Line Super Player Selection Program,” inviting travel enthusiasts to showcase their planning skills. By using the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Xitou Line as your mode of transport and planning a two-day, one-night Xitou itinerary to be published on your blog, you could win rewards worth over ten thousand New Taiwan Dollars—including free accommodation at Ming Shan Forest Lodge in Monster Village, two sets of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Xitou Line tickets, NT$2,000 in travel expenses, and a NT$5,000 prize for the winner.

This summer vacation, the Xitou Line of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle has also planned a variety of exciting activities and invites everyone to join in. In collaboration with the Monster Village in Xitou, a “Ghost Month Monster Shuttle Event” will be held on the day of Ghost Month’s opening (the 1st day of the 7th lunar month). Registration is now open—just show up in your most frightening costume, and you can ride the Monster Shuttle round-trip between Taichung and Xitou for free, plus enjoy dinner and an exclusive souvenir.
