Powerful Typhoon Soulik Approaches: List of Suspended and Postponed Events Nationwide

This year's Typhoon Soulik (SOULIK), the seventh typhoon, is heading toward Taiwan. The Central Weather Bureau has issued a maritime typhoon warning, and a land typhoon warning is expected to be issued by the evening at the earliest. New Taipei City Gongliao International Marine Music Festival: The four-day event after the 11th has been postponed
Changhua County Wanggong Fishing Fires Festival: Events on the 13th and 14th have been postponed
Cijin Ocean Music Festival: Postponed to July 20, 21, 27, and 28
Tainan Mashaguo Music Festival: Events on the 12th and 13th have been postponed; new dates to be announced
Su'ao Cold Spring Cultural Festival: Postponed to July 19–21
Hualien Indigenous Joint Harvest Festival: Will be postponed
Hualien (Hot Air Balloon) Soaring Season: Park closed and operations suspended until the typhoon warning is lifted
Taitung Hot Air Balloon Carnival: The afternoon hot air balloon tethering event and evening light show concert on the 12th are canceled; all activities on the 13th are suspended
Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival: Park closed for two days on July 12 and 13
Toucheng Ocean Culture Tourism Festival: The Sunshine Beach Fun Day on the 13th and 14th has been postponed to July 20 and 21
