Kaohsiung’s duck boats are super cute – two more to be added at Lotus Pond by year-end

Since its launch, Kaohsiung’s amphibious sightseeing duck boat has carried over 240,000 passengers. To show appreciation for the public’s enthusiastic support, the Kaohsiung Public Bus Administration has launched two special events: “The 250,000th Passenger Receives a Lifetime Taiwan Accommodation Discount Voucher Card” and “Duckling Family Week – Ride the Duck Boat and Win E-Da Theme Park Tickets.”

The amphibious sightseeing duck boat in Kaohsiung has received widespread acclaim and support from consumers. In response, the Kaohsiung Public Bus Administration has introduced the “250,000th Passenger Lifetime Taiwan Accommodation Discount Voucher Card.” Holders of this card can enjoy up to 70% off regular rates when staying at hotels, resorts, homestays, or even motels across Taiwan.

To accommodate the peak summer family travel season, in addition to duck boat-themed activities, the Kaohsiung Bus Office has also launched “Duckling Family Week – Ride the Duck Boat and Win E-Da Theme Park Tickets.” From now until July 21, passengers who purchase tickets for the Duck Boat – Lotus Pond Line will not only have a chance to win one of five small lucky gifts, but also stand a chance to receive a nearly NT$1,000 E-Da World theme park ticket. The draw will take place at 5 PM on July 14 and 21 at the Lotus Pond Local Products Pavilion.

Additionally, the Kaohsiung Bus Office stated that two “brand new” duck boats will be added by the end of December. Residents are invited to join in the ride and experience the amphibious sightseeing journey. The public is also encouraged to use public transportation to get there.
