Malaysia’s “Jewel” Destination: Easy Access from Traders Hotel Johor to Legoland

“Johor” is situated at the southernmost end of the Malay Peninsula, and in Malay, Johor means “jewel.” In this jewel-like location, Traders Hotel Johor, which is just a 10-minute drive from Singapore, has been chosen by the Shangri-La Group and officially opened in June 2013. The hotel is adjacent to the picturesque Puteri Harbour and houses the Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park, Southeast Asia’s first integrated entertainment and cultural Hello Kitty play center. It is also just a 10-minute drive from LEGO Land Malaysia, Asia’s only LEGO theme park, making it a brand-new travel choice for visitors to Malaysia.

The world’s sixth LEGO Land officially opened in Malaysia at the end of last year, featuring seven themed zones, over 40 rides, and a Mini LEGO Land made from 30 million LEGO bricks. The “It’s a Small World” theme song, recreated with 3 million LEGO bricks at a 1:20 scale to showcase famous Asian landmarks, ensures that both children and adults can enjoy themselves at LEGO Land, fulfilling everyone’s dreams.

Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park is the only Hello Kitty park in Japan’s overseas territories to be directly authorized by Japan. Upon entering the park, visitors become part of the Hello Kitty cartoon kingdom. Through the latest interactive technology, guests can explore “Black Wonder” with Hello Kitty, take photos with Hello Kitty and her friends, enjoy stage performances, and create unforgettable memories.

Traders Hotel Johor is the third Traders-branded property under the Shangri-La Group in Malaysia. The four-story main building, adjacent to Puteri Harbour, is beautifully designed.
