Creating a Wedding Photography Base – Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan Management Office Opens a "Happiness Suite"

Continuing the concept of "White Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan," the Tourism Bureau’s Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area Administration is actively transforming Tainan City’s Beimen District into a happiness town. In addition to promoting wedding photography spots, in January this year, they thoughtfully established a "Happiness Suite" where couples can touch up makeup, change outfits, or take a break to recharge before continuing their photo sessions.

The Beimen Visitor Center of the Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan Scenic Area Administration was renovated from an old Taiwan Salt warehouse and uses "White Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan" as the main theme to promote coastal tourism. With many public art installations in the outdoor area that take on different styles according to the season, it has become a popular spot for wedding photography companies.

To extend the coastal tourism theme of "White Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan" and accommodate the hardworking couples on photo shoots, in January this year, the Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan Scenic Area Administration also set up a "Happiness Suite" at the Beimen Visitor Center. The facilities and space are designed to match the professional dressing rooms of wedding photography studios, featuring bright professional makeup mirrors and changing rooms, as well as power outlets needed for styling, allowing couples to touch up makeup, change outfits, or rest to regain energy. In addition, every detail of the Happiness Suite—from signage to overall color scheme—has been carefully designed to create a feeling of happiness for couples.

The Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area Administration stated that besides the Beimen Visitor Center, the Beimen town itself offers various scene backdrops such as the symbolic Love Tree with a Bell of Happiness, white churches, the nostalgic Japanese-style Beimen Branch Office, coastal wetlands, sunset salt fields, and oyster racks. In the future, the administration will gradually build up the romantic image of Beimen, making it the most couple- and newlywed-friendly happiness town in all of Taiwan.

"Happiness Suite" Usage Guidelines:

1. Available Time for Borrowing: Monday to Sunday, 09:00–17:30 (Open all year round, except closed on New Year’s Eve)
2. Borrowing Rules:
1. This venue accepts free applications for use by groups or individuals for changing clothes and makeup.
2. Applications to borrow the venue are generally required to be submitted three days in advance using the application form for registration. On-site borrowing is subject to availability.
3. Users should properly maintain the facilities in the venue and ensure all individuals adhere to these rules.
4. In the event of special or force majeure circumstances, the administration may notify the applicant to reschedule or cancel the booking.
5. All personal belongings brought into the venue should be kept by the user; the administration is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
6. Please clean up all trash left in the venue before leaving.
7. To maintain cleanliness, no food or drinks (except water from the water dispenser inside the venue) are allowed to be brought in, and eating or drinking inside the venue is prohibited.
