Pretty girls can be train conductors too: “Bee Sister” punches tickets on the train

Pretty girls can be train conductors too！ On the Nantou Train Festival today (28th), the steam train DT668 ride event invited the popular conductor “Bee Sister,” chosen by online voting, to board the train and accompany passengers on their journey through the Nantou Train Festival. Using the train’s conductor broadcast system, she guided passengers along the scenic route and punched their tickets.

The Nantou Train Festival selected two popular conductors beloved by different demographics through online voting—“Bee Sister” from the children’s channel, and the energetic internet sensation “Sunny Tingting.” Bee Sister made her appearance today, riding the afternoon DT668 steam train from Zhuoshui Station to Checheng Station, where she handled ticket punching duties, patrolled the carriages for random ticket checks, and interacted closely with children.

The popular conductor voting event has entered its second year and is one of the most beloved activities for both adults and children. Steam train services staffed by popular conductors were fully booked immediately after the festival opened. On August 4th, the champion of the Sweet Goddess group, Sunny Tingting, will take over. With her attractive figure and dynamic dance skills, Sunny Tingting will serve as the popular conductor on the C and D steam train services next Sunday. Visitors who haven’t yet reserved a spot but want to catch a glimpse of their idol can try their luck at the train station before departure by donating purchase receipts totaling at least NT$500 spent within Nantou County during the event period to potentially secure a standby seat.

The Nantou Train Festival will run until August 11th. Steam trains operate every Sunday during the event. As long as you stay at a licensed hotel or homestay in Nantou during the event, you can apply in advance through your accommodation provider to ride the steam train for free. Currently, there are limited seats available, so those interested should act fast. Every Saturday also features a “Spend NT$1,000 to Win a Free Hot Air Balloon Tethered Ride” event—anyone who spends NT$1,000 in Nantou during the event period can enter the draw, with one winner taking off and two people going up together.
