Wild Dune Night: Enjoy Music with the Sea Breeze and the "Queen"

"Wild Dune Night" will kick off on August 2nd and run for two consecutive days. Featuring performances by singers Ji Xiaojun, Gao Huijun, and tenor Wang Dian—who won first prize at the Singapore Vocal Competition—the event will present an international-level musical feast right beside the iconic Queen's Head. This marks the first time the Yehliu Geopark has held a concert within its grounds, allowing visitors to enjoy moving melodies with the sea breeze in their hair and take in the nighttime view of the Queen's Head.

The North Coast Sea Music Festival enters its fifth year this year, and unlike previous editions, the performances have been moved inside the geopark. The main stage has been set up near the first area’s peculiar rock formation, the "Playful Princess." Yang Jingqian, general manager of New Space Company, explained that 180 audience seats are arranged on a filled-in platform, ensuring no damage to the geological landscape.

Yang Jingqian noted that tickets for the concert are limited and sold for NT$1,000 each. Currently, only 10 tickets remain for Friday and 20 for Saturday. All proceeds will be donated to the Wanli Homeless Shelter and a special education group in Sanchi, allowing attendees to enjoy music while supporting a good cause. Please note that entry to Wild Dune Night is restricted to ticket holders only—general admission is not permitted.

To allow attendees to admire the concert while also catching a glimpse of the Queen's Head in the second area, additional lighting will be installed around the iconic rock formation to highlight its nighttime beauty.
