The Real-Life Version of the Movie “Zone Pro Site” – Kaohsiung Neimen’s Banquet Chef Tour Launches

The movie “Zone Pro Site” brought Kaohsiung’s famous Neimen banquet chefs to the big screen, and it also premiered in Kaohsiung on August 11. The Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau took the opportunity to launch two one-day tour packages covering Neimen and the Devil’s Valley (Yue Shi Jie), allowing visitors to explore Qishan Old Street, the Neimen Songjiang Battle Array, Tianliao Devil’s Valley, and more. Tourists can even taste authentic dishes cooked by real Neimen banquet chefs, with the lowest one-day tour cost starting at just NT$699.

The Tourism Bureau has launched two routes: “Neimen Banquet Chefs” and “Devil’s Valley Banquet Chefs.” The itineraries include visiting the Neimen Songjiang Battle Array, Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center, the charm of Qishan Old Street, viewing anthurium flowers, as well as exploring Tianliao Devil’s Valley, the 308 Highland badland geological ecology, and the Hongmaogang Cultural Park. Travelers can also visit the recently hottest and largestGolden Diamond and Triumph Night Markets. Each tour costs NT$699 or NT$799, including lunch where you can enjoy an authentic banquet chef-style meal.

Neimen is the township with the highest density of banquet chefs in Taiwan. The Tourism Bureau states that Neimen’s banquet chefs are “famous up north and renowned down south,” with each chef having their own unique secret recipes. It’s no exaggeration to say they are the true homeland of Taiwan’s banquet chefs. This time, the Tourism Bureau has partnered with Lion Travel to launch the “Banquet Chefs: Eat to Win” package tour, aiming to let visitors experience the most authentic Neimen banquet chef culture.
