China Airlines launches new route! From September, direct flights from Taoyuan to Busan will take just 2 hours.

Another new route is here! China Airlines is launching a direct route between Busan, South Korea, and Taoyuan starting in September, operating six flights per week. Travelers no longer need to transfer via Seoul when visiting Busan. In the future, you can fly directly from Taoyuan to attend popular events such as the Busan International Film Festival, the Busan International Rock Festival, the Busan Biennale, and the Busan International Fireworks Festival—all within just over two hours of flight time.

China Airlines stated that starting in September, it will operate B737-800 aircraft on the Taoyuan–Busan route, with each flight offering 8 business class seats and 150 economy class seats. There will be six weekly flights, operating once a day except Fridays. With the addition of the Busan–Taoyuan route, China Airlines will offer a total of 27 weekly flights to South Korea, including 11 flights between Incheon and Taoyuan, 7 between Incheon and Kaohsiung, 3 between Gimpo (Busan) and Songshan (Taipei), and 6 between Gimhae (Busan) and Taoyuan. Additionally, through codeshare agreements with Korean Air, there will also be 14 weekly flights between Incheon and Taoyuan.

In addition to the internationally renowned Busan International Film Festival, famous tourist attractions include Songdo Beach, Haeundae Beach, Taejongdae, and Yongdusan Park.
