Peach Aviation today officially announced its new Taipei (Taoyuan)–Okinawa (Naha) route, with plans to operate one round-trip flight daily between the two cities. Ticket sales start today, and to celebrate the new route, Peach Aviation will offer one-way Taipei–Okinawa round-trip tickets for just NT$999 this evening (August 12). Peach Aviation CEO Mr. Shinichi Inoue stated that this marks the first time Okinawa has served as the departure point for an international route. In addition to expecting more Okinawan travelers to visit Taiwan, the airline also looks forward to seeing a growing number of Taiwanese tourists traveling to Okinawa. In the future, Okinawa will become the second international hub after Kansai International Airport, offering Taiwanese travelers more new options for traveling to Japan.

As Peach Aviation’s fifth new international route, this also provides Taiwanese travelers with another direct flight hub besides Kansai International Airport.
