The powerful Typhoon Utor hit northern Philippines, bringing strong winds and heavy rain, leaving several people missing in the country. While Typhoon Utor will not affect Taiwan, its strong winds and heavy rainfall are still impacting flights. According to the latest updates from Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, multiple Taipei–Hong Kong flights will be cancelled or delayed tomorrow (the 14th). Passengers planning to travel to Hong Kong are strongly advised to double-check their flight status.

Latest updates from Cathay Pacific and Dragonair: Due to the impact of Typhoon Utor, the following flights have been cancelled tomorrow: Hong Kong/Taipei CX466, KA486; Taipei/Hong Kong CX467, KA487; Hong Kong/Kaohsiung KA442, KA443; Kaohsiung/Hong Kong KA443. Flights Taipei/Hong Kong CX463, CX465, CX403 will experience delayed departures.
