This New Year’s Eve, Taipei Sheraton Grand Hotel & Resorts transforms its banquet hall into a whimsical family-friendly wonderland themed “Kitchen Games & Fun Odyssey.” The venue features three interactive zones: “Fairy Tale Castle,” “Adventure Forest,” and “Underwater World.” These lively, playful corridors transport guests of all ages into an irresistible realm of joy. The event also offers unique interactive booths to boost festive cheer, including “Happy Pirate Ship,” “Golden Dog Bubu Car,” “Fortune Ball Game,” “Blessing Basketball Machine,” and “Lucky Spinner.” Guests can also exchange lucky popcorn and family reunion photo keepsakes. It's truly an all-ages amusement night to remember.
The highlight of New Year’s Eve is, of course, the traditional reunion dinner — each dish is infused with auspicious meaning. Highlights include “Steamed Live Lobster with Gold & Silver Garlic” symbolizing great fortune, “Imperial Five-Spice Eight-Treasure Hotpot” blessing wealth and abundance, “Whole Live Coral Grouper with Scallions” signifying surplus year after year, and “Coral & Bamboo Fungus with Golden Squid” representing soaring success. The meal concludes with “Golden Ingot of Fortune” and “Osmanthus Jelly for Steady Advancement,” wishing guests a sweet new year full of luck and prosperity. Additionally, each table receives two bottles of red wine, and juices are available unlimited.
Not only fun and delicious, but the stage area also presents a dynamic lineup of performances. The evening kicks off with a festive drum parade and lion dance, followed by acrobatic acts blending tradition with creativity and mind-blowing magic shows that deliver a dreamlike spectacle. The interlude features live band performances of timeless classics. For New Year’s Eve 2018 on February 15th, the banquet hall main area is priced at NT$26,800+10% per table (10 persons), and the private room area at NT$32,000+10% per table (10 persons).
