Taoyuan Tao Yuan Xian Gu

Famous for having Taiwan’s largest tulip garden, Tao Yuan Xian Gu sees tens of thousands of tulips in purple, red, yellow, and pink—about 600,000 blooms—in full elegance during peak season. The park is also offering a special deal at the end of the year: all domestic travelers can book free entry online before December 31, 2017, saving NT$350 per person, with a daily limit of 300 visitors.

Miaoli Ya Wen Qi Li Xiang Rose Forest

Covering an area of over 13,000 square meters, the Ya Wen Qi Li Xiang Rose Forest preserves a large expanse of wild litsea trees from its development phase, along with 600 varieties of roses transplanted from around the world, creating a stunning rose forest. The park features beautiful photo spots such as hollow heart-shaped tunnels, a miniature Eiffel Tower, a Tokyo Skytree replica, fountains, and rose walls.

Taichung Hui Yu Secret Spot

Taichung’s newest Instagram-worthy spot, “Hui Yu Secret Spot,” was first unveiled at the end of August. Its wooden boardwalk stretches across an artificial lake, flanked by green hills dotted with sparse trees. Inside, you’ll find woven bird nests, artistic landscapes, and glass houses, creating a vibrant scene reminiscent of a hidden paradise.

Yunlin – Chenglin Agarwood Scented Forest Museum

The “Chenglin Agarwood Tourism and Leisure Farm,” which opened in February this year, features a park themed around “natural, non-toxic, and fashionable aesthetics.” The scent of agarwood wood wafts through the air, while Japanese-style landscaping creates a Zen atmosphere. Starting in November, the farm announced free admission year-round, making it a new must-visit destination in Yunlin known for its wonderful fragrance, fun, and photo opportunities.
