Hsinchu Tao Yuan Xian Gu

Known for having Taiwan’s largest tulip garden, Tao Yuan Xian Gu bursts into color when its tulips are in full bloom, with 600,000 tulips in shades of purple, red, yellow, and pink elegantly flowering. Tao Yuan Xian Gu is also offering a special year-end deal: all domestic travelers can book online for free entry before December 31, 2017, saving NT$350, with a daily limit of 300 visitors.

Miaoli Ya Wen Qi Li Xiang Rose Forest

Covering an area of over 13,000 square meters, the Ya Wen Qi Li Xiang Rose Forest preserved a large tract of wild spicebush trees during its development and also transplanted 600 varieties of roses from around the world, creating a stunning rose forest. The park includes picturesque spots such as hollow heart-shaped tunnels, a mini Eiffel Tower, a Tokyo Skytree replica, fountains, and rose walls—perfect for photos.

Taichung Hui Yu Secret Spot

Taichung’s newest Instagram-worthy spot, “Hui Yu Secret Spot,” was unveiled at the end of August. A winding wooden boardwalk crosses an artificial lake, flanked by gentle green hills dotted with sparse trees. The area also features wooden bird nests, artistic landscapes, and glass houses—a vibrant scene that feels like stepping into another paradise.

Yunlin – Chenglin Agarwood Scented Forest Museum

The "Chenglin Agarwood Eco-Leisure Farm," which opened in February this year, features a park that emphasizes "natural, non-toxic, and fashionable aesthetics." The scent of agarwood wafts through the air, and Japanese-style landscaping creates a Zen atmosphere. Starting in November, the farm announced free entry all year round, making it a new must-visit spot in Yunlin that’s fragrant, fun, and photogenic.
