Cake is a beloved dessert for many women, but too much cream can feel heavy. Recently, a new cake shop opened in Da’an District, Taipei, specializing in three types of cakes: pure naked cakes, natural chiffon cakes, and French mille-feuille cakes. Among them, the naked cake has no thick layer of cream and uses grape seed oil instead of regular salad oil, offering a more delicate, refreshing taste and rich milk aroma.
In addition to its refreshing taste, the Moutong Flower Cake also uses seasonal flowers, plants, and fruit ingredients for decoration, bringing the enchanting atmosphere of nature into fresh ingredient-based cakes, creating a fresh and elegant visual effect – like a fairy-tale cake.

The cake selection offers over ten flavors, including pure naked cakes, natural chiffon cakes, and French mille-feuille cakes. Ingredients include flour from Kumamoto, Kyushu, and fresh cream made from Hokkaido raw milk using low-temperature sterilization, along with grape seed oil replacing regular salad oil, resulting in a more delicate, refreshing taste and rich milk aroma. The signature Green Apple Rum Naked Cake filling is made with a jam simmered from green apples, lemons, and white wine, enhanced with rum to perfectly lift the aroma and acidity. Topped with forest-themed tea trees and little sheep, the adorable and aesthetic visuals are soothing to the soul while delighting the taste buds.
