This weekend is Christmas Eve and Christmas Day already！ To promote animal conservation and environmental education, Kaohsiung’s Shoushan Zoo will host the “Shoushan Conservation Christmas Party” this Saturday (the 24th). On that morning, anyone who comes dressed in festive Christmas attire can enjoy free admission. Parents, dress your little ones up in cute holiday outfits now！

To get visitors into the holiday spirit, the zoo has set up a 4-meter-tall Christmas tree and large inflatable animal mascots for fun photo ops. On Christmas Eve (the 24th), wearing special festive outfits—like Santa hats, reindeer ears, or snowman costumes—can also grant you free entry. Just get your outfit approved by the staff at the entrance and you’re good to go.

The theme of the Christmas party is “Animal Conservation.” The organizers have also invited Taipei Zoo, the Kaohsiung Wild Bird Society, and other groups to help spread awareness about protecting wildlife. The “Shou Q Family” mascots will be there to meet and greet guests. Pick up an adventure card at the information desk and collect six stamps to enter prize draws—including chances to win accommodation vouchers. In addition, the Water Plaza has been cleaned twice over and will officially open to the public on the 21st.
