Thailand, beloved by Taiwanese travelers, is a world-renowned tourist destination. Recently, the globally acclaimed travel website TripAdvisor released its list of the top 25 landmarks in Asia, with Thailand securing nine different tourist attractions and resorts across various categories. These include historic and world-famous sites such as Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) and Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), the Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum in Kanchanaburi, and the Black Mountain Water Park in Hua Hin.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Perched on a mountain about a 30-minute drive from downtown Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep offers stunning views. Elderly visitors who prefer not to climb the 300 steps to the temple can take a cable car. Photography is allowed everywhere except the main worship hall. Travelers may also visit the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden (about a 10-minute drive away) before returning to the temple. The panoramic view of Chiang Mai city and the airport runway from the temple is breathtaking.
