Fun & Explore！Get Discounts on Tickets to 20 Visitor Attractions in New Taipei City

Have fun exploring together！The New Taipei City Department of Economic Development has invited 20 visitor attractions to collaborate with nearby accommodations, transportation services, and restaurants to launch 1- to 2-day tour packages. Visitors who make purchases at any of these attractions or present their tickets can receive discount vouchers from “Fun & Explore” alliance merchants, including up to 40% off hotels and 50% off hot spring experiences, as well as up to 40% off regular car rental rates.

Currently, 15 visitor attractions and industrial culture museums in New Taipei City are in full operation, with the number set to increase to 20 by the end of the year. These include popular spots such as the “Yvette Ice Cream Dream Factory”, the “Wu Fuyang Socks Story House”, and Taiwan’s first condom visitor attraction — the “Taiwan Bao Er Condom Knowledge Museum”. In addition to sightseeing and shopping, visitors can learn about the origins and culture of various industries.

The Fun & Explore campaign runs from September 1 to April 30 of the following year. During this period, receipts from purchases at visitor attractions and industrial culture museums will turn into “spending discount vouchers”, which can be used at over 40 merchants across 11 districts in New Taipei City. The range of participating businesses includes accommodations, transportation, restaurants, hot springs, and museums.

The Department of Urban Development noted that some of the more distinctive visitor attractions include the Dengfeng Fish Ball Museum, Liuchuan Tianxia Art Museum, Viega Bakery’s Pineapple Dream Factory, the Nougat Museum, and Fenfen Tian Xingfu Castle Visitor Attraction.
