The INDIGO Taipei is more than just a high-altitude bar — this summer, it unveils a “marine-themed” fantasy afternoon tea

Remember those romantic, tipsy nights at high-altitude bars after dark? The INDIGO Kaohsiung Central Park Hotel isn’t just home to the romantic high-altitude bar Pier No.1. Its in-house Craft Café has launched a dreamy afternoon tea set featuring blue-toned, colorful desserts that perfectly match the upcoming scorching summer — an adorable tea experience guaranteed to drive girls wild with photo ops.

The Craft Café at the INDIGO Hotel boasts large floor-to-ceiling windows, situated right in the midst of Kaohsiung’s sunny vibe and bustling shopping district. It offers American-style dining service with an industrial design aesthetic, and has specially introduced a “Underwater World” afternoon tea set for early summer. Featuring purple coral reef cupcakes, dreamy pearl macarons, honey vanilla madeleines, plus a summer bay French-style panna cotta decorated with beaches, oceans, and swimming fish — it’s visually cooling just to look at.

The INDIGO Hotel is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group headquartered in the UK, carrying on British afternoon tea culture to bring guests a romantic summer. The afternoon tea set can be paired with one of two Craft summer coolers. The two flavors are “Azure Ocean,” a tangy mix of Calpis and blue citrus, served as a gradient drink with fresh fruit popsicles that deliver a refreshing sip every time. The other is “Flower Power,” featuring homemade hibiscus fruit syrup with a handcrafted rose ice ball — a dreamy favorite for girls.
