The Taipei-New Taipei Tourism Website is Launched – 60 Must-Visit Attractions Revealed

Taipei and New Taipei launch a joint tourism website for the first time“Taipei-New Taipei Tourism Website”, with main collaboration elements including attractions, tour routes, and website cross-linking. The public can visit either the “Taipei Tourism Website” or the “New Taipei City Tourism Website” to access over 60 must-visit attractions in the Taipei-New Taipei area and six Happiness Tour Routes, including popular recent offerings such as cycling trips and eco-friendly blue highway cross-city tours.

The Taipei City Tourism and Travel Bureau stated that visitors selecting the “Play Themes” and “Explore Greater Taipei” sections on the “New Taipei City Tourism Website” can find tour routes that connect attractions in both Taipei and New Taipei. Meanwhile, accessing the “Taipei Tourism Website” allows users to choose themed tours such as “Theme Tours in Taipei,” “New Taipei Tours,” and “Happiness Tours,” making it easy to discover the six recommended tour routes in the Taipei-New Taipei area.

The New Taipei City Tourism Bureau also pointed out that Taipei City attracts visitors with its urban style — iconic spots like Taipei 101, the National Palace Museum, and Shilin Night Market are beloved by international tourists. In contrast, New Taipei City offers a more diverse range of attractions, such as the Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival, Gongliao Ocean Music Festival, and Happy Christmas Town, showcasing both traditional culture and innovative spirit.

The China Backpackers Association, which participated in the press conference, believes that the launch of the Taipei-New Taipei Tourism Website is like providing a complete “lazy person’s guide” to travel information. Whether for general travelers or backpackers, the website’s travel resources make it easy to explore Taipei and New Taipei. The association also revealed that many popular queue-worthy eateries and hidden gems are located near MRT stations, waiting to be discovered by more people.
