Located on the northeast coast of Australia, the Great Barrier Reef, with the world’s largest and longest coral reef system, is truly a natural wonder beneath the sea and has become a premier diving destination for enthusiasts.

The Great Barrier Reef boasts unique natural scenery and is the only ecosystem on Earth visible from outer space. With over 2,900 types of coral reefs and 300 species of coral rocks, parts of the reef emerge during low tide to form coral islands. When boats pass by, the clear waters reveal a vibrant and diverse array of coral formations — a spectacular sight.

One of the more well-known sites isOsprey Reef, located in the northeast of the northern Great Barrier Reef and famed for its visibility of up to 40 meters. Here, divers can get up close and personal with sharks beneath the sea. Nearby, the Sunshine Coast is also home to the wreck site of a Royal Australian Navy warship, where divers can admire the vessel from various angles.
