“Yilan Lili Westin Hotel” Begins Soft Opening; Locals Enjoy Buy-One-Get-One-Free Dining

Long-awaited, Yilan’s first international chain hotel brand, “Yilan Lili Westin Resort,” officially begins its soft opening on the 19th. To celebrate, from now until June 30, the hotel is offering a range of room and dining promotions.Residents registered in Yilan City or County can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free deal when dining at the hotel’s Zhiwei Western Restaurant.

Located in Yuanshan Township, Yilan Lili Westin sits atop Yuanshan’s No. 1 Spring, which is a naturally carbonated sodium bicarbonate spring — commonly known as “beauty hot spring” — leaving skin smooth, soft, and non-greasy after bathing. The location also has geographical advantages: it’s only about a 15-minute drive from downtown Yilan and is close to famous tourist spots such as Wanglongpi Reservoir, Fushan Botanical Garden, Yuanshan Park, and Yilan Distillery, allowing guests to explore more of Yilan’s diverse beauty.

In terms of design, Yilan Lili Westin interprets traditional Japanese gable-style architecture through an Eastern Zen aesthetic. The staggered sloping roofs, the soaring entrance motif, evergreen trees, cherry blossom groves, and Douglas firs blend seamlessly with nature, fully showcasing the diversity of Japanese landscapes and hot spring villages.

The hotel offers a total of 91 rooms across 11 room types, including 8 family rooms, 1 accessible room, and 6 standalone villas with private swimming pools. Room sizes start from 13 ping and go up to 103 ping. Each room features a separated wet and dry bathroom and comes with either a single or double private hot spring tub. The hotel also has 6 independent hot spring houses and both indoor and outdoor open-air baths. It has partnered with Thailand’s top HOME SPA brand, HARNN SPA, to deliver a luxurious, modern, and culturally rich hot spring resort experience.

To coincide with the soft opening, from now until June 30, 2017, the standard rate for a room with one night’s stay and one meal starts at NT$7,125, while a room with one night and two meals starts at NT$9,125. SPG Club members can also earn double Starpoints. In addition to room promotions, the hotel is running a series of dining promotions. From May 19 to June 30, diners at Zhiwei Western Restaurant can enjoy special rates during the soft opening period, including:50% off for residents of Yuanshan Township during the promotional period; buy-one-get-one-free for residents of Yilan City/County; and 20% off for the general public dining at Zhiwei Western Restaurant.
